The Laura N. Dowsett Award was created in 1982 to honor a Sustaining member who personified the ideals of the Junior League of Honolulu. This annual award is presented to a Sustainer who demonstrates the spirit of voluntarism, the value of specialized training, the effectiveness of advocacy, and other qualities of leadership developed in the League. All sustaining and active members are invited to nominate a sustainer they believe fulfills these criteria and who reflects the spirit of the league.  Nominations are due May 10, 2024.
