Criteria for Membership

The Junior League of Honolulu seeks women at least 21 years old, of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism and developing their leadership potential.

The New Member Committee processes the required new member application. If the material is complete and submitted to the Committee by the specified date, the prospect will become a member of the New Member class upon payment of dues.

A new member’s first year of training is intended to familiarize her with the purpose, goals, and organizational structure of the League, and to prepare her for effective participation as a volunteer.
