The Laura N. Dowsett Luncheon is an annual celebration of the enduring spirit of voluntarism, leadership, and community impact that has defined The Junior League of Honolulu for generations.

This year, we are proud to honor Elaine Evans, a Junior League member since 1978 and League President (1984–1985). Over the decades, Elaine has left an indelible mark on our community, from helping establish the Honolulu Academy of Arts Guild and its beloved Kamaʻaina Christmas tradition, to a distinguished career in nonprofit development at Hawaii Theatre Center and the UH John A. Burns School of Medicine, to her current volunteer work as a docent at the historic Liljestrand House.
