JLH will be assisting HUGS with one of their monthly Respite Nights, which provides childcare so that caretakers can take an evening off to relax and unwind.  JLH will facilitate the games and activities for the children, which will be provided by the HUGS center.

HUGS serves Hawaii children, ages birth to 21 years, who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness that ranges from cancer, cardiac issues, and liver and kidney ailments, to chromosomal defects. Since its inception in 1982, HUGS has grown to meet the emotional and financial needs of more families from across the state, helping them cope with the effects of a childhood illness.
